The staff were very friendly and helped me immediately with the flat tire, thank you very much. One tire was defective and unfortunately not in stock. I was then fitted with two other new tires (one would have been approved and sufficient). These were also incorrect, as the prescribed tires (225/75 R16CP) had the CP marking, while the tires fitted did not, meaning they lacked reinforced sidewalls and were therefore not subject to the prescribed air pressure of 5.5 bar. I could only drive at 90 km/h and had to replace them in Germany. Nothing was replaced for me, and no one there understood, so be careful when buying tires.

Following the repair, I was offered a diagnostic check. This was carried out the next day (Friday). The workshop manager called me to tell me that the fault was with the injectors, that I needed to have all four injectors checked (€90 excluding VAT/injector), then replace the faulty injector at €320 excluding VAT/each. Cleaning the catalytic converter took 2.5 hours of work at €68 excluding VAT/hour, and so on. That's a minimum bill of €1,200 if only one injector had to be replaced for a 15-year-old car. I preferred to give myself the weekend to think about it. Even though the workshop manager insisted that I have my vehicle repaired, I called the garage on Monday to inform them that I wouldn't have my vehicle repaired and would come and collect it myself. The workshop manager told me the diagnostic bill was €187 including VAT to pay... I thought it was a steep bill! After a discussion, I requested the invoice by email so I could pay remotely. €20.40 excluding tax for vehicle travel, €59.94 excluding tax for suitcase, €68 excluding tax for 1 hour of labor, €7.50 excluding tax for administration fees. No harm in making money off the backs of customers. So I requested the suitcase diagnostic, since the suitcase had been inspected. Unfortunately, after treating me like a rookie, the workshop manager told me on the phone that he hadn't printed the diagnostic and couldn't get it back. So, I informed the workshop manager that I wouldn't pay for the suitcase if I wasn't provided with the diagnostic. Furthermore, it wasn't entirely legal to charge for 1 hour of labor + 1 suitcase. After several phone calls, I managed to get a discount equal to the price of the suitcase. Even if I have to pay €115 including tax for nothing, for a semblance of a diagnostic that never happened. In the end, the car was repaired by me: the fuel rail sensor was worth €60 including tax, and the catalytic converter was not cleaned. So I was charged €500 including tax to have the four injectors checked for nothing, and so on... I should avoid this garage, as the secretary told me on the phone. I'm going to contact customer services.

I recommend MDB Renault Truck in Baume les Dames. I had a car on the highway for a breakdown, and the breakdown service arrived very quickly. I loaded it carefully and set it up in a nice, clean waiting room, offering coffee. The next day I came back to pick up the car and left with a charged battery. All with politeness, hello, goodbye... from everyone. In short, I am extremely satisfied with the welcome and the service, even though I didn't have a complicated repair on a tractor or trailer. My shovel hose broke today (a Saturday), I managed to get it fixed immediately at the store. I highly recommend them.
