Records are being broken in the field of fraud. Truck stuck for two weeks, I supplied the clutch kit (Mercedes 914, so like a bigger Sprinter, disconnect the shaft, pull the gearbox back, remove, refit, reassemble).... No quote or work agreement signed, not even announced by phone or email ("What's your number?" It's just printed on the truck, but hey....well done, it's like a mess..... Invoice €850😱🤯🤯🤯_. (Note that I have a business, where's my SIRET number on it? Doesn't payment at 45 days exist here?) To change a clutch on this type of truck, in workshop conditions, pit, + hydraulic gearbox table, it takes 3 hours.....4 hours if it's Monday morning after a busy weekend.. (Where is the old clutch that I noticed? state?) I demand an explanation for this hoax... Furthermore, I personally checked the work done. By removing the inspection cover, there's reason to question the company's seriousness. Paying €850 - THAT (PHOTOS) and not even having the old grease cleaned (that's conscientious).... There's even reason to wonder if it was really done and to remember the magic of brake cleaner. A complaint will be filed with the appropriate authorities... I'm attaching a photo of a quote from a Mercedes specialist to get things back to their fair price... I don't think I need to add a second one, it's unequivocal... Sincerely, Mr. Jenny, "Sharp Knife" Manager

Having broken down 10 km further on, we were directed to this shop by a "kind local Samaritan"... and the adventure begins 😩 I called the garage because I hadn't heard from them. They said they wanted to replace the clutch (which we supplied) on our 914 truck, which had our whole life in it (moving). They had promised to do the repair quickly (unable to provide a quote or an approximate price, "I have to see the truck" (so we're dealing with a "specialist"; we have no choice, not being from the area, we were directed to this address). Following this call, the mechanic didn't know which vehicle I was talking about!! Surprisingly, I insisted, and he finally put me through to his workshop manager (who apparently doesn't like talking to women mechanics). He told me they were understaffed and could no longer give me a turnaround time. repair, knowing that he had promised to do it within a week, which was far from being the case!! I asked him again for a quote, he promised to keep us informed within the day (he asked me again for our phone number even though it's printed all over the truck). Still no quote.... Our "kind Samaritan" being responsible for bringing the truck back to us, the garage demanded a surprising payment by credit card, does instant transfer exist? Having returned home 600 km away, our "kind Samaritan" therefore "THEORETICALLY" paid with his credit card that we had topped up for this service. To this day, we still have not received a stamped paper invoice PAID with the credit card payment or a receipt for our accounting. I ask him again for a quote, he promises to keep us informed during the day (he asks me again for our phone number even though it is printed all over the truck). Still no A quote, a third party being responsible for returning the truck to us, the garage demanded a surprising payment by credit card, so our clerk "THEORETICALLY" paid with his credit card that we had topped up. To this day, we still haven't received a paper invoice with the credit card payment or a receipt from our "kind Samaritan." A joyful mess that smells of burnt oil... Just saying. I don't know about you, but in addition to charging twice as much as elsewhere, blocking my husband's work tool for two weeks (who doesn't ask for days' compensation), this business of an unreceived invoice, this "providential savior clerk" known to the company, I find this clutch reeks of sulfur!!! ... given the price for work estimated at other reputable and local stores between €350-450, compared to €850 (we provided the part), this lack of transparency, etc., we feel we are racketeered, and swindled in the rules...
